About
Hesabu is Swahili for “accounts”
We built Hesabu Online so that every group can keep clear accounts without relying on one person, one phone or one spreadsheet.
Chamas, welfare groups, investment clubs and harambees are how communities save, invest and look after each other. But the money usually sits in someone's personal account, contributions get confirmed with screenshots, and the balance is whatever the treasurer's spreadsheet says.
That works until someone asks a question nobody can answer. Hesabu Online replaces that arrangement with a shared group wallet, live contribution records, role-based payouts and automatic statements.
The goal is simple: everyone in the group can see where the money is, and nobody has to take anyone's word for it.
Simple
Sign up with a phone number and join with an account number. If you can send mobile money, you can use Hesabu.
Secure
Money moves only through the roles your group chooses, and every transaction leaves a record.
Stress-free
There are no month-end reconciliations and no awkward questions at meetings. The numbers are already there.
Bring your group's money into the open.
Create your group in minutes. All you need is a phone number.
